Seohyo has practiced a form of installation and performance-based work combining common everyday objects with media technology to render them unfamiliar, allowing us to perceive ordinary things in new ways. And she has turned her attention to media literacy education programs, pursuing projects to explore the different possibilities of coding through a Creative Computation class. More recently, she focuses on generative art, creating images everyday through code by constructing mathematically imagined shapes or taking inspiration from nature. She has taken part in events such as the Asia Triennial Manchester, the Kobe Biennale, the Ogaki Biennale, the Seoul Mediacity Biennale, and the Gwangju Design Biennale.
