In the early summer of 2015, there was a bright, sunny, but rainy day. It was not too hot yet in June, but the weather was so refreshing that getting wet seemed cooler. As I looked at the drops of water through the transparent plastic umbrella, I felt like a plant that had been drenched with water and thought, "I want to drink water (I'm thirsty)," which inspired this painting.

Artist Bio:

I often see everyday scenes as my own unique landscapes, filtered through the beautiful scenery, interesting facts about the world, the ups and downs of human emotions, and fantasies from movies and novels. I then use this unique landscape as a reference to create a painting. The landscapes that I create are unrealistic at first glance, but they are also like dreams that have no connection but are somehow connected, and they are also like a kind of diary that expresses my daily thoughts. We forget many things in our daily lives, but when we come in contact with beautiful nature and art, and our senses are sharpened, we remember the past and important things that we have forgotten. I try to draw pictures that can bring those things back to us, and that is what I do every day.
