Artists Bio

Aleia Murawski and Sam Copeland are artists based outside of Chicago who focus on making moving-image videos and miniature sets, often populated by their pet snails. Their work has been covered by NPR, The Strategist, BBC, and The Guardian as well as featured in the MoMA “In Search Of Us” show curated by Petra Collins and Madelyne Beckles. Aleia and Sam released their first book “Snail World” in 2020, published by Broccoli Magazine.
