Artist Bio:

Michael Cook (aka Mr. Cookie) is an illustrator, fine artist, and creative director. After completing his formal training, he apprenticed with urban artist Justin Bua while he finished illustrating his book, “The Legends of Hip Hop.” The time spent with Bua helped Mr. Cookie begin to unlock a new world for his very own characters and style. His first popular piece of artwork was a black and white illustration titled “The Smoking Monkey” in 2011. That piece sparked his professional career and inspired this series, which is dedicated to the next chapter and evolution of his character.
